I was asked to sit down for an interview and explain to the average person
how they can best prepare themselves
to plan the best party they could.
Some of the topic we reviewed were
etiquette, budgeting,
how to execute a theme properly,
and how to prepare and staff your event.
It was a great experience and tons of fun!

Meet Melissa
Creative has always been one of the first words I use to describe myself. But what I love most is using that creativity to bring someone else’s vision to life.
There is something incredibly special about sitting down with a client, listening as they describe their celebration, and then turning those ideas into something they can actually see, touch and experience. Whether it starts with an invitation, a color palette, a theme or simply an idea, I love finding the little details that make an event feel personal.
After more than 25 years, one of the greatest joys of You’re Invited to Celebrate has been becoming a small part of so many families’ biggest moments. I’ve watched my Bar and Bat Mitzvah and Sweet Sixteen clients grow up and come back for their weddings. I’ve welcomed brides and grooms back years later to celebrate christenings, birthdays and communions for their children. To me, there is no greater compliment.
I truly care about my clients, their celebrations and the trust they place in me. So much of my business has grown through referrals, repeat customers and families sharing my name with their friends—and I never take that for granted.
Trends have changed, celebrations have evolved and the business has grown, but what I love about this work has remained the same: creating beautiful things, making the process easier, and helping people celebrate the moments that matter most.

Amanda has been a valued part of the You’re Invited to Celebrate team since 2016, bringing years of experience, a calming presence, and a genuine love for helping couples enjoy their most important day.
While Amanda has also spent time working in our store and helping couples prepare for their celebrations, it’s on the wedding day itself where she truly shines. Her confidence, organization and ability to anticipate what needs to happen next make her an incredible planner to have by your side.
Weddings don’t always go exactly according to plan—and that’s where Amanda is at her best. She has an amazing ability to handle stressful situations with grace, ease and a smile, taking care of the details behind the scenes so our couples can stay focused on celebrating.
